Orhan, who works as a funeral director at the municipality, is also responsible for the cemetery for the destitute. He wants to marry his girlfriend Serpil, but cannot afford to do so. Orhan's friend Rafet wants to dispose of a corpse and asks Orhan to bury it in the cemetery for the destitute in exchange for money. Orhan's conscience troubles him, but he thinks that with the money he will receive, he can marry Serpil, and reluctantly accepts the offer. However, during the burial, it is discovered that the man is not dead, and things get complicated.
