Leonard Bernstein conducts four pieces by American composers: George Gershwin's 'An American in Paris' and 'Rhapsody in Blue' and Charles Ives' 'Symphony no. 2' and 'The Unanswered Question'. 'American in Paris', 'Rhapsody in Blue' and 'The Unanswered Question' are all performed by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at London's Royal Albert Hall in June 1976, while Ives' Symphony no. 2 is performed by Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in the Congress Hall of the Deutsche Museum, Munich in June 1987.

El Concierto is the first live album recorded by the Mexican singer Luis Miguel. The album was recorded in August 1994 during the promotional tour of the album Segundo Romance and included three Mexican standards composed by José Alfredo Jiménez and recorded for the first time by the artist with mariachi: "Si Nos Dejan", "Amanecí En Tus Brazos" and "El Rey". The album won in the Best Album category at the Eres magazine awards in 1995 and was nominated for Pop Album of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards of 1996

At the end of November 2014, the Flemish music scene lost a Ghent icon. Singer, songwriter, and author Luc De Vos passed away unexpectedly. On Thursday, December 5, 2024, some 20 artists and bands paid tribute to him at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp. The lineup included ISE, Maria Iskariot, Emma Bale, BLUAI, Elisa Waut, Eden, Kids with Buns, ILA, Lady Linn, Emmy d'Arc, and Aafke Romeijn.
