Simon and Kamina live in an underground city monitored by the village chief. When Simon stumbles upon an artifact and beastmen invade from the surface, Simon and Kamina rebel against them.
Cowhairs want to drive farmers away from their lands. Luke takes matters into his own hands, and even Lotta's beauty and kindness can't hold him back. Signs suggest that there is also a third party in the background who benefits from the strife.

Heyes rushes to the town and sees Curry in the audience; the man on trial is an impostor who didn't commit the murder he's accused of. Originally a longer duration episode of the TV series Alias Smith and Jones (1971). It occasionally appeared in syndication as a TV movie, under its own name, with the series title bluntly edited out of the regular series' opening credits.
