The debate, which was streamed live online, was recorded on Saturday, October 6th, 2012, at the Lisner Auditorium at The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. The proceeds from the sale of the debate go to multiple charities picked by both O'Reilly & Stewart, including the Fisher House Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, and the USO.
