Pale Kiss - Count Dracula's Love-
"I shall give eternal life only to beautiful things...." While visiting London in 1887, Count Dracula of Romania exchanges promises with the daughter of a multi-millionaire. The romance of vampire legends has traveled about for hundreds of years, and in 1987 Star Troupe performed this production with Shion Yuu in the pivotal role. This very popular show was a unique theme for Takarazuka-- the first act is on classical and aesthetic beauty, and the second act is a more modern pop style of Count Dracula's love.

People will gamble their lives in the name of passion. It was performed by Moon Troupe in 2008, led by Sena Jun and in 2009 by Oozora Yuuhi of Cosmos Troupe. This is the story of a poet who lived at the time of the French Revolution. The poet's name was Andrea Chénier. He lived and died amongst love and bloodshed. The numerous words of truth spun by this revolutionary poet became poems for eternity. Even today, they continue to shine light on the hopes that rest in people's hearts. The tidal wave of the times, when everyone believes that the ideal kind of society has arrived, will in time move in the wrong direction. Ironically, Andrea and Maddalena will be joined together by a thing called love. Idealism, which has been pushed to the forefront of reality, is toying with Gérard's life. The setting is Hotel Edler, a long-established four-star hotel in Vienna. Today, Hotel Edler is preparing for the reception of a coming guest: Emma Carter, the famous Austrian-born Hollywood star, who will stay at the hotel incognito. Unfortunately, a hotel employee has already revealed the top-secret news of Emma’s arrival through social media, and it causes chaos at the hotel...
