A mix of documentary and fiction, the film tells the story of Honestino Guimarães, a student leader at the University of Brasília and president of the National Student Union. For his activism, he was arrested five times and abducted in 1973 by the Brazilian military dictatorship. Drawing on archival materials and previously unpublished writings, testimonials from family and friends, the film explores Honestino's struggle, legacy, and the Brazil he dreamed of transforming.
