Two unemployed youths become private detectives to solve a girl's problems.
Ival Droupadi movie tells the story of Ajitha (Vani Viswanath) whose sister Anitha is brutally raped by a three member gang including a minister, a Police Commissioner and a rich businessman. (Anitha is in love with Sudhi (Shiju) who is a mimicry artist and their neighbour). As can be presumed, Anitha (Sujitha) commits suicide. The only witness to the brutal crime Raavunni (Mala Aravindhan) is murdered by the three-member gang. Ajitha, along with her father, tries to seek the help of the police, but to no avail. When she decides to take matters into her hands and seek vengeance for her sister`s death in her own way, her father, for the sake of her safety, dubs her a lunatic and manages to send her to a lunatic asylum.

In the middle of the 80s, in Madras. While her car, (one Volkswagen Beetle, typify like Walt Disney's "Herbie") breaks down (frequently), Mâlu (Jayashree), a beautiful young graduate, very independent, stemming from the Tamil bourgeoisie, attends, dumbfounded enough, not far from it, in the terrible correction that Raghunath (alias Raghu) (Mogan) to a pickpocket administers. The young man who went to an interview, misses his bus. Having got acquainted with Mâlu and having repaired his vehicle, this one leads him to its meeting. She informs him on the spot, that post, is already taken, what puts Raghu, beside himself. During his interview, he lets burst his anger, he becomes enraged in the face of his future employers, among which one, Rajasekhar (A. R. S.), who is other than the father of Mâlu, who finally, appreciates the frankness of Raghu and commits it on fields.

Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.

The film released worldwide on November 14, 2013. Upon release, the film received positive reviews from critics albeit the lead actors and the comedians' performances were appreciated.
