Shark was born without a father in a fishing village where the main occupation is catching sharks. In his poor and humiliating life, his only source of comfort is the tender love of his mother. However, on the night of a festival, the village burns to the ground and his mother dies. Left alone, Shark sets off for Kyoto with an old caster.
"Niña Linda" follows the story of a young Dominican-American college student, Carolina (played by Aileen Pujols), who begins to find a new sense of self through her relationship with Carter (played by Brock Warren), and navigates her complicated relationships with Mami (played by Yanelba Ferreira), Tia (played by Genesis Diaz), and God.

Sol, the youngest daughter, writes a lude rock song about it and performs in front of them at a concert. The daughters plot together on how to get their mothers new girlfriend, a native Czech, and brilliant pianist, out of her life. Their plot goes terribly wrong and turns the film from a light-hearted comedy, into mildly amusing drama.
