A woman suffering from terminal cancer struggles to resolve several relationships in her life: a devoted but stressed lover, an estranged sister, and a daughter on the edge of a nervous breakdown.
Five Days in August
Viveca is 31, divorced, and has a son of 6 years. She and her friend Aud have left the hectic everyday life and moved in with bohemians and artists. We follow these two women for five days, as they come in contact with many different people.

Miklo is incarcerated and sent to San Quentin, where he makes a "home" for himself. Cruz becomes an exceptional artist, but a heroin addiction overcomes him with tragic results. Paco becomes a cop and an enemy to his "carnal", Miklo.
