The Spectacular Spinning Songbook made its first appearance in 1986 in Los Angeles during the "Costello Sings Again Tour." In 2011, Elvis Costello and the Imposters set out on The Revolver Tour and, for the first time in 25 years, once again allowed his set-list to be chosen by "The Spectacular Spinning Songbook," a monumental game-show type wheel spun by select fans and featuring songs from his latest critically acclaimed release National Ransom, plus new renditions of hits, rarities and very unexpected covers. This is the complete concert from the 12th May, including special guest appearance from The Bangles.

The executive producers of High School Musical keep the good times rolling with this upbeat musical comedy set in the one place every American teenager's home away from home - the local shopping mall. When Ally shares her music with Joey (Rob Mayes), a janitor in the mall who harbors rock star ambitions, she is thrilled to find someone who can truly relate to her songs as well as her heart. Trouble looms on the horizon, however, in the form of the mall owner's spoiled rotten daughter Madison (Autumn Reeser). Madison is the kind of girl who's used to getting whatever she wants, and what she wants now could prove disastrous for both Ally's ambitions, and her mother's popular music store.

Eddie Weinbauer, a metalhead teen who is bullied at school, looks to his heavy metal superstar idol, Sammi Curr, for guidance. When Curr is killed in a hotel fire, Eddie becomes the recipient of the only copy of Curr's unreleased album, which, when played backwards, brings Sammi back to life. As Halloween approaches, Eddie begins to realize that this isn't only rock 'n roll...it's life and death.

This film puts the album Back In Black under the spotlight and with the help of those who worked on the record, friends of Bon Scott, AC/ DC biographers and others who were there at the time, discovers how the album was made, how it was received and how it still inspires musicians and fans alike to this day. Featuring rare and classic footage of the group, interviews with Bon Scott and Angus Young, exclusive contributions from friends, colleagues, journalists and biographers, every track from the album reviewed and reappraised by a panel of esteemed experts and plenty more besides. Although it wasn't until after the release of the Back In Black album that AC/DC became global superstars, the era most fondly remembered by fans of this extraordinary band is when Bon Scott was at the helm - between 1974 and 1980. And if there's one album from that time which illustrates best what the mighty 'DC were all about during those years, it has to be Highway To Hell.

The concert was filmed progressively over the 'Best of the Best' tour in the spring of 2016 in Germany but the bulk of the material was filmed in the last week of the tour, playing in many great venues including the famous Festhalle in Frankfurt, a venue that Pink Floyd themselves performed 'Animals'. A cinematic approach was taken to produce a film of a concert which we hope will give much enjoyment to the viewer and listener.
