Operation Petticoat
A World War II submarine commander finds himself stuck with a damaged sub, a con-man executive officer, and a group of army nurses.
Two cabin stewards working on a luxury vessel on a Mediterranean cruise to Tangier attempt to earn extra money from the passengers using every possible means.
The scheming Albert Higgins and his dim witted mate Cecil Hollebone, set out on a ocean voyage under the exasperated chief steward. Along for the trip are the wealthy Mrs. Brough and her secretary Pat. Soon Mrs. Broughs’ jewels are stolen…

During the 1980s, uptight Ted Boynton is a salesman working in the Barcelona office of a Chicago-based company. In the film, a disgruntled sailor named McGinty complains about the raw deal he believes he is receiving by serving in the Navy. As luck would have it, a seagull comes to release him from service so that he can experience the freedom of civilian life. McGinty soon learns, however, that civilian life means less freedom and less money than he had imagined and quickly jumps at the chance to re-enlist.
