This program collects a number of the late singer/songwriter Steve Goodman's appearances on the classic AUSTIN CITY LIMITS television series. Probably best known for his song "City of New Orleans", Goodman's catalog of songs have earned him a large cult of fans, including luminaries such as John Prine, Kris Kristofferson, and Arlo Guthrie, all of whom appear here, talking about Goodman and his music. This short film was created by a group of Indigenous filmmakers at the NFB in 1972 and is essentially a song by Willie Dunn sung by Bob Charlie and illustrated by John Fadden: "Who were the ones who bid you welcome and took you by the hand, inviting you here by our campfires, as brothers we might stand?" The song expresses bitter memories of the past, of trust repaid by treachery, and of friendship debased by exploitation upon the arrival of European colonists.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rock Records in Taiwan, the music label put together an unprecedented concert in the history of Taiwan music, supported by more than 60 performing units. The show toured through Asia and many cities in the Mainland, and finally drew its curtains in Taipei Arena in November 2011. The massive lineup posed an array of challenges in terms of scheduling, lightning, sound and stage design for the crew, but in the end everything came together and resulted in a grand five-hour spectacle. Some of the artists who appeared in the finale include Wu Bai and China Blue, Mayday, Emil Chau, Alex To, Karen Mok, Fish Leong, A-Yue Chang, Rene Liu, Winnie Hsin and Richie Jen who brought to fans classic ballads like "Moment of Awakening," "Don't Leave Me If You Love Me," "Soft-Hearted," "A Tearful Decision," "Happy Paradise" and more.
