A short anime directed by Tetsuro Araki in collaboration with music by Hiroyuki Sawano and Motohiro Hata. A part of the "TOHO animation: Music Films" project, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of TOHO animation.
25th Anniversary Studio Ghibli Concert
Concert held on August 4, 5 and 6, 2008 at the Nippon Budōkan hall in Tokyo to commemorate both the Japanese theatrical release of Ponyo (2008) and the 25 years of musical collaboration between composer Joe Hisaishi and filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki.

Piano Vladimir Horowitz in a televised recital from the White House on 26 January 1978, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his US debut, at the invitation of President & Mrs Carter. On the program, Chopin's Sonata #2 in B-flat minor, Waltzes in A minor and C-sharp minor, and Polonaise in A-flat, followed by encores by Schumann, Rachmaninoff, and Horowitz's own Carmen Variations.

The story begins the day before the graduation ceremony. Five middle school girls each are preoccupied with their real everyday lives. These girls meet each other in a fantasy world after being sent there through a sudden occurrence. There, they learn about the impending crisis that this world is facing. The way to avert this crisis is for the five to collaborate and bring their five hearts together as one through dance. However, the five cannot come to love the world, and cannot tell their true feelings to one another, so their hearts are unable to unite. The time limit is fast approaching. Can the dance of the five girls save the world? And will they be able to graduate?

Hitori 'Bocchi' Gotoh is an introverted girl. During middle school, she took up the guitar, wanting to join a band. But because she had no friends, she ended up practicing guitar for six hours every day all by herself. After becoming a skilled guitar player, she uploaded videos of herself playing the guitar under the name 'Guitar Hero' and fantasised about performing at her school's cultural festival concert. But not only could she not find any bandmates, before she knew it, she was in high school and still wasn't able to make a single friend! One day, Nijika Ijichi, drummer of Kessoku Band, reached out to her. And because of that, her everyday life begins to change little by little.

The national idol unit "Fool's End" suddenly announced its dissolution. The group will hand over the "Tenka Bata," which can only be held by the best idols in the world, to a successor group. The successor group will be decided based on the total score of each group's music sales, live attendance, and merchandise sales. The race was named the "Battle Royale for the Tenka Bata," and it marks the beginning of a nationwide battle of the idols. At the Kawanakajima Festival, where the three groups NO PRINCESS, Lunatic Eyes, and "X-UC" were to perform, an incident occurred to a member of X-UC. Umino Risa, the youngest member of X-UC, is so anxious about the high level of performance of the other idols that she runs away. As a result, X-UC will have to go on stage with the nine remaining members. Then the announcement is made that this Kawanakajima festival will be the first battle of the "Battle Royale for the Tenka Bata"!
