The Pandemic Anthology
2020 has its place in history as the year a virus stopped the entire planet. In its first months, amid quarantine and growing uncertainty about the future, Fantaspoa Film Festival launched a contest for filmmakers from around the world to create their pandemic-related stories—in their homes, with the resources they had at hand. This anthology brings together the 15 most representative and creative short films produced, capturing this moment in time that, if humanity is lucky, will never be repeated.

It's interesting to watch 3D scenes directed by representative directors of Korea, and it's noteworthy in terms of industry that this try displays the possibilities and realities of 3D film in Korea, as well. Renaissance short stories from the collection "Italy" are a variety of views from different backgrounds, linking theme of many forms of love, its tones and semitones, from bitterly ridiculous after tragic. Screenwriter Ján Števček that dramatically processed three Jégeho stories.

Commissioned by South Korea's National Human Rights Commission, If You Were Me is an innovative omnibus film project to promote tolerance and human rights and shed light on the hardships disadvantaged people face in Korea. This third installment continues the If You Were Me tradition. Directors Jeong Yun Cheol (Marathon), Kim Hyeon Pil (Wonderful Day), Lee Mi Yeon (L'Abri), Noh Dong Seok (Boys of Tomorrow), Hong Gi Seon (The Road Taken), and Kim Gok and Kim Sun (Capitalist Manifesto: Working Men of All Countries) participated in If You Were Me 3, creating shorts on human rights issues of their choosing, ranging from labor conditions to gay rights to discrimination.

In the late 90s, filmmakers William Hellfire and Pete Jacelone collaborated on a series of custom death fetish shorts. While primarily aiming to satiating the bizarre proclivities of their unknown clients, the pair also conspired to link the unrelated shorts together with an obtuse story thread and reoccurring characters, all with the hopes of eventually cutting the footage together as a feature length anthology film. Unfortunately the project was never completed and the footage has languished in the vaults for nearly 20 years... until now.
