Four animal friends get a taste of the wild life when they break out of captivity at the Central Park Zoo and wash ashore on the island of Madagascar.

The director who was shocked to see a picture of a dog abused and abandoned by humans, devoted his passion to this unique work that took seven years to complete.

He also stumbles onto an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins to finance his plans.
