A motorcycle cop buys a used car to take his family on vacation to the East Coast. Minor car trouble along the way causes him to meet first a reckless driver, and then a highway patrolman who shares stories of bad drivers with him. Various dangers of careless driving - both fictional and real - are depicted as the patrolman continues on the job, later crossing paths with the reckless driver again. When the police officer makes the return trip from his vacation, he finds that the situation has changed in a surprising way.

Young Robbie, a keen footballer and a railway enthusiast, is persuaded by his big brother to go through a hole in a railway fence on to the track for some reason. His laces become caught on the tracks and he has an accident so serious that he will never play football again. A film for showing to eight to eleven-year old children and their parents, which points out the folly of breaking railway fences and trespassing on the line, and illustrates the immediate dangers. Searching for documentation about Max Linder, we found in an abandoned house a trunk sealed for 100 years, with a film from 1926 by an unknown filmmaker. The film depicts Max Linder, the first international screen star who was once revered in France, throughout Europe and in Hollywood. This pioneer of early silent film comedy was a mentor to Charlie Chaplin. Max miraculously avoided death five times. And finally, at the height of his artistic powers, he and his adored wife committed a double suicide. How was this possible?
