One of the composer's most beguiling scores, La Favorite is Gaetano Donizetti's La favorita in it's original French form; a tale of love and war that represents a glorious mix of Italian bel canto and 19th c. grand opera. Vincent Boussard's arresting Toulouse production does full justice to this newly renewed masterpiece. Three international principals take on the work's demanding roles: Chinese tenor Yijie Shi is a 'revelation' as Fernand, the rich-toned, authoritative French baritone Ludovic Tezier as King Alphonse XI and lauded American mezzo Kate Aldrich - 'the Carmen of this generation' - plumbing the emotional depths of Leonor's music. Conductor and bel canto specialist Antonello Allemandi adds to the passionate proceedings onstage. Maestro Allemandi demonstrated full authority over the stage for the musically complex scenes, and in the arias and duets demonstrated his confidence in the singers by establishing ample tempos to support their soaring vocal lines.

The third work of the popular series depicting the famous detective Kyosuke Kozu. Blind musician Ryoichi Kashiwagi died of a heart attack. His father, Shigeyuki , is already bedridden and has billions of Japanese yen in assets. Ryoichi's wife Yukiyo and Ryoichi's younger sister Tsuruko have a dispute over these assets. Newspaper reporter Matsushita, who met Ryoichi just before his death, was interviewed, and was told that there was something unnatural about Ryoichi's cause of death. Soon, Tsuruko died mysteriously. Matsushita decides to have Kyosuke Kozu, a university professor and a famous detective, solve the case.

Many older people have nostalgia for the hits of their youth. Knowing this, we decided to create a musical film where popular melodies of 30-40 years were played, such as "Splash of Champagne", "Carioca", "Tiko-tiko", "Joseph", "No need to be sad", etc. The film is structured as a conversation between a pop singer (Vera Beradze) and a collector of old records (Boris Shcherbakov). After the selected record is put on the gramophone and a familiar melody sounds, the old collector suddenly appears in the frame with the singer and transforms into a brave Mexican, then a playboy, or a guy from the outskirts of Moscow, depending on the song being played.

"I can't go to church," the girl objects. - There's a young, funny father there. I will laugh at him..." So she follows the old man past a blooming meadow, along a fast, cold river... Weaves a wreath along the way, decorating it with colored ostrich feathers caught from the water. A lot of events will happen along the way - one is more incomprehensible than the other, and then there will be a wedding and girls in embroidered sundresses with songs will carry garlands of hay on their shoulders with ribbons, red plows will float down the river, and in the foreground is a girl with a groom.

The special feature of the series is a special way of shooting, combining the game of actors and sophisticated computer graphics (backgrounds, scenery), as well as stylization of ancient paintings.
